Double Action Roulette

Double Action RouletteRoulette is a staple of any good casino nowadays, whether it’s a brick and mortar or an online one. And of course like with any game that grows in popularity there are a lot of variants for it. One of the most successful in recent years is Double Action Roulette. The main difference that this game has over standard Roulette is that there are two rings of numbers. They spin independently from each other and the ball lands in a spot between these two rings. This will give out two winning outcomes. The player can bet on the outcome of the outer ring, the inner ring, or a parlay bet on both.

It seems that the game is available in both a single-zero and a double-zero table. In order to place bets, instead of having a 3 by 12 grid of numbers, Double Action Roulette has a 6 by 6 field. Despite all of this, the bets and odds remain pretty much the same when you’re betting on a single outcome. Here are the specific bets that are available in Double Action Roulette:

Single Ring Bets

These bets can be made either on the inner or the outer ring.

  • Single number. Pays 35 to 1.
  • Two numbers. Pays 17 to 1.
  • Four numbers. Pay 8 to 1.
  • Six numbers. Pay 5 to 1.
  • Twelve numbers. Pays 2 to 1.
  • Eight numbers (0, 00, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6), this is available only in the double-zero format. Pays 3 to 1.
  • Seven numbers (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6), this is available only in the single-zero format only. Pays 4 to 1.

Double Ring Bets

These bets will only work on parlays, where you must land the winning number on both rings.

  • Single number. Pays 1200 to 1.
  • Two red, black, odd, even, 1 to 18, 19 to 36. Pays 3 to 1.
  • First, second, or third dozen. Pays 8 to 1.
  • Eight numbers (0, 00, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) which is obviously only available in double-zero format only. Pays 18 to 1.
  • Seven numbers (0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) which is only available in single-zero format only. Pays 25 to 1.

If you ever find yourself getting bored with the usual game of Roulette, keep in mind that there are a lot of variants for this game out there. Whether playing in a live casino or online, most establishments offer a lot of Roulette variations. Double Action Roulette is one of the most recent and is quickly becoming a staple for a lot of gambling halls.
